16 Injured in 4-Alarm House Fire in the Bronx, including 13 firefighters: Sixteen people were injured, including 13 firefighters, in a four-alarm house fire in the Bronx early Sunday evening, officials said. The fire, at 2860 Valentine Ave. in Bedford Park, spread to two neighboring buildings, according to the FDNY. The blaze started at around 5 p.m. in a vacant wood-frame house and spread to the two buildings next door.
